Title: Play Starwars with trackball?
Post by: rchadd on October 06, 2004, 07:30:02 pm
Is it possible to play Starwars with a trackball?

I have a Golden Tee trackball and when i move it doesn't seem to work at all in the game.

do i have to modify the sensitivity settings?

any example settings to use?

Well, I can play with a MOUSE so logic would say it can work with a trackball too... You'll need settings sensitive enough for you to move rather quickly. Even then I don't know how feasible it is to play properly...

I use a handtrack and it plays Star Wars so I should imagine that a normal trackball will work.

Personally I prefer an analogue Joystick though

Yes, you can play it with a trackball.... it just takes time to get use to it.  That's how I play it, until I can fashion up a starwars controller.

edit....
Forgot the say, you might need to tweek the sensitivity a little to make it easier to use, I have it set so I only move it a little to get the cross hairs where I want them.

Yes.  Did you enable mice?  (also check sensitivity, as already mentioned)
