Title: Project JCADE
Post by: itismejs on October 06, 2004, 05:47:22 pm
I just used elmers spray on adhesive to add the CPO on (made by chu)

It looks like its kinda peeling off in the picture but its just the angle. It had a 17" dell monitor (which I had to take out to move the arcade) and a 2 player street fighter layout. (I have to wait an hour before I can cut the holes on the laminated vinyal.)

wow man!  That thing turned out great!  I'm glad that border I made for the joysticks came out perfectly, sorry I left out the JCADE at the bottom, still looks freakin great though!  I'm excited to see the final project with all the controls, should be pretty bomb.

I cut the hole for the buttons...
Also I added some thumb tacks to make the CPO stay better. Cant see them and it looks great.

I rearranged the buttons so each player has 3 blue on top and 3 white on the bottem.
I also did most of the wiring. It is a little messy but the cat5 cables are kewl....I am going to install the happs super joysticks as soon as a I figure out how. :)

Is that a Williams cabinet? I have one that I'm going to Mame. I wanted to add a trackball but I dont know if there would be enough room on a cntrol panel that wide.

Love the CPO overlay!!! ;D

Yep, Its a williams moon patrol. My paint stripper completly ruined the side art so the cab is now black.
There is room for a trackball in there. I will probably add a spinner where th 2 way joystick used to be since I cant cut a trackball hole(No tools/budget) and putting another joystick that is only good for a few games is pointless.
