I would like to know, if a card with tv-out and dual display option, like Radeon, could work like this...
I want to use the s-video tv-out to display on TV the same picture that`s coming from the VGA output, both at the same time.
Since you can see the BIOS and boot screens using the s-video cable...this s-video picture would work for me to secure that I don't change my TV video mode to RGB, if I still don't get the right frequency.
It could work like this, even using DOS ?
Thanks.

I have one and you can get it to display on both at the same time. I have not tried it in DOS, but when the computer boots, you can see the boot sequence on the TV, so I assume that it would work in DOS also.

But you can see the boot sequence on TV and on the monitor at the same time or you only can see that when you are inside Windows ?

The Radeon allows display on both during the entire boot sequence. I've also got my old GeForce 2 MX do the same (and then moved that to strictly TV use).

I would like to ask another question...
Using programs that directly program the VGA signal, like AdvanceMame, AdvanceCab etc...will make any interference or stop the s-video output ?

I don't know, I've never used those progs.
