I was a bit dismayed that I couldn't get my wood cut to angles. So I couldn't have a nice arcadey slope to my controller. Then I thought about just putting some of those leveler feet things and increasing the height the back feet to create the slope. Anyone know what those feet are called or have done something like this?

find a junk yard and steal some off of an old washing machine.

Funny, that's what my dad said too :-\. The instore replacements are probably a bit larger than 3/4" I'd imagine, but who knows.

You would still need mounting plates or t-nuts though...
Have you tried Bob Roberts (http://www.dameon.net/BBBB/parts.html#hardware) or Happ Controls (http://www.happcontrols.com/industrial/accessories/49100203.htm)? Apparently Bob Roberts site has moved.

Have you totally given up on generating the angle/slope? Seems like the leg levelers address the symptom more than the problem... I wonder if someone else on the board has a tip for creating angle cuts...
I dont' know what tools your have or what you'd need (a miter box?)
I would think you could take the sides of the control panel "squares/rectangles" and draw a slope and cut that slope... would that work?
I saw on your WIP page, that you initially made a cardboard mockup.. maybe it would be usefull to create another mock up with slope and then use those pieces as a template....
Just a thought... whatevver works for you. I personally had to be creative (like the legleveler idea) in order to get results I want when facing certain mechanical issues in building my cabinet...

what kind of tools do you have for cutting woods ??
and what kind of wood are you using ??
you should be able to do striaght cuts and still able to incline your control panel... (of course.... it will not fit 100%.... but should fit reasonably well.... with no obvious gap...)
but then if you have a sander... then it'll be perfect...
or use some of those soft edge thingy... etc.
if your whole stick is suppose to be flat, and then you incline it just by adding those level legs and make the rear ones much higher, the center of gravity of the stick will be off and (my guess is) it won't have a good feel....
Have you cut all your pieces yet ?? cos by striaght cuts only, I should be able to help you cut a inclined box.....

Thanks for the replies, this controller is going to be on my desk all the time at an almost 90 degree from my arms to it. We'll see how it feels as a straight box. I'm going to wire everything to the top lid so I can redo the base later if feel like it and I get the tools some day. [circular/band saw?].
