I tried running on my 1.4ghz and I got like 15fps ;)
But a friend of mine owns a 3ghz system and he says mvc2,cvs2,3rd strike runs fine.

I have a 2.4 and I haven't had any real luck... Its cool, but non really worked 100%

I am running off real cds and not isos... I never figured if it made a difference.

But I have a real dreamcast... And it was cool....  But not quite there... I'm hoping the next few versions will really hammer it down.

I have a 2.4ghz with 512 ram and it works great. I need to figure out how to set it up in Mamewah and run at full screen.

Played MVC2 and PowerStone. I need to find a save game so I can unlock all of the guys in MVC2. I'm sure one is out there, just need to look for it.

Make sure you use the European bios, it has the blue swirl. The US bios won't load anything.

Any chance chankast will work with the Intel integrated graphics card that comes with a Dell.  I got a 2.8 ghz P4 but didn't get any upgraded graphics card cause I knew MAME didn't use it.  I do have an upgraded sound card.

I think it is emulated also. That'a why you need a fairly fast processor to run it.

You should be fine.

Incidentally I believe there are some options to 'overclock' the emulated dreamcast cpu in chankast. Not sure its in the main options, but possibly a command line option - check out the chankcast forums or google it. Apparantly it can help fps quite a bit on certain machines....

my arcade machine computer is a 2ghz and it only runs at like 35/fps. I use the NTSC bios btw and it works fine, got it from a popular torrent site...

It will work with nrg, cdi and iso. Once you load these in the virtual drive they are playable.

I am learning about this too, but I just figured this one out yesterday. I downloaded MagicIso to convert, but didn't end up needing it.
