Title: Game Launcher doesn't launch

I've been toying with trying to get .97 Game Launcher setup......I consider myself savvy but for the life of me I cannot get it to launch mame.

It is displaying the game list and snaps just fine so I am fairly certain I have the correct directories established in mame.cfg.

Select game, screen black, right back to GL.

I enabled debug=yes as docs suggest so you can see the command it is executing written to log file....but there is no "e:\mame\mame.exe game" ending up in the logfile at all.

Any suggestions for how I might go about finding the short between my chair and the keyboard?

What is showing up in your log file?

Are you looking at the runit.log?

Can you post your glaunch.cfg and mame.cfg files?

Ooops.....I found da prob.

It was in fact a small short between the chair and keyboard.

I've had this problem too each time I've tried to use the same program. Which is a shame cos I really like the look of it.

what do you mean though, a short between the chair and the keyboard?  ???

Think about it!

What is usually between your keyboard and your chair when you are working on your computer?

It is the most common cause of computer problems.
