When I launch a program from MAMEWah that has to reprogram the Ipac on exit, when I come back into mamewah, it says it reprograms fine, but none of the controls seem to work properly. Ipac issue? Or mamewah issue? Newest version of everythin and Windows XP Pro.

Well do the keys from the previously programmed configuration work?
ie which controls work: ipc_file_or_path OR mamewah_ipc_file
-
its seems to be neither, like i press up on the left joystick which never got programmed differently in either set, and it moves up...but also changes emulators...

Check what keystrokes are being sent using a different program.

its only in mamewah though...if i exit out and back in it runs fine.

Wierd...is it a fairly new IPAC? Are you using hte 'Interactive Panel Design' version of WinIPAC? I haven't tested that version, but I assumed it would work the same way? Even so it seems odd...can't think of anything right now ???
-
Yea, new jumperless IPAC on PS2 con, and IPAC ICP...it confuses that hell outa me
-
Did you ever use the IPAC feature in MAMEWAH pre-version 1.5? I wonder if my new DirectX input code could be affecting it (?)
-
Yea, before 1.5 it seemed to work fine. Maybe your not releaseing something?

True, I don't think I release the keyboard at all...
Could you drop me an email and I'll make some adjustments for you to try out - I won't be able to do it until next week tho, I won't be around as of tonight.
