Quick Q to all you Illustrator gurus out there...
I'm working on some new sideart for my second mame cab and ran into a small issue. I started the main character today during my lunch break. I did what I normally do, slowly build up the image using layers and shapes until I had something along the lines of what I wanted.
The problem is I did this on a 8x10 size page and used stroke to get outlines on my shapes. When I pasted the work I did into my sideart templates and resized it, my stroke stayed at what I set it to on the 8x10 page. Is there any way I can have all the elements of my images increase in size when it's resized? I've used stroke lots before on my shapes and didn't know of this limitation :\
I can go increase them by hand now, but if I ever want to resize the image again I have to go back and change the stroke value on 50+ elements.
Chalk this one up to being a newbie at vectorizing :)

Easy fix.
Double click on the scale tool. Select "scale strokes and effects"
Hit ok or whatever to close that window.
Then just scale the file up and down like you normally do... it should scale the strokes up and down now.
Just remember that it's selected the next time you *don't* want your strokes scaled.

You can also hit Alt + K to bring up a window, and check the "Scale strokes and effects" box.
