Title: galaga high score glitch
Post by: danny_galaga on September 28, 2004, 01:14:00 am
i've become frustrated with the high score entry in mame galaga. it's as if not only is the rom emulated, but a sticky switch too!! does anyone else have this problem? that is, when i enter my initials it seems very hit and miss whether i get to enter the second and last digit. i like to enter DAG but more often than not it comes out DAA  >:( .

i could change my initials to AAA i suppose...

Yeah everyone has that problem.  I get SAB instead of SJB some of the time.  This was addressed here before and I think someone said it might be due to some sort of speed hack that was applied to Galaga roms.

bugger. i guess that means unless someone emulates a galaga that DOESN'T have the speed hack, we're stuck with crap high score names?

now, who can i be?

andrew alioitious appleby?

anthony antler arnold?

alfred alston-angleberger?

pity, cos i've always wanted to change my name to duncan donuts...
