Title: MameD for Dreamcast
Post by: SteveJ34 on September 26, 2004, 11:15:46 pm
I'm thinking of using a dreamcast to power a classics bartop with just few mainstay games.

I thought of using Namco Classics game but it does not display quite right, as in it is off the screen and moves up/down based on where you are in the maze for ms pacman for example.

I've also been toying with MameD (Mame for Dreamcast) for which I have a complete CDI burned with some number of roms but it too, is also off screen and I do not know how to resize it.

If I can figure out how to adjust the screen resolution in Mame, what I think I would like to do is build a custom bootable MameD CD with the few games that I wish to have.

It appears development ceased on this back at .37b6 which is fine but does anyone have experience in getting this up and running?

I have a CD now but it was an image I pulled from usenet and burned.

I would like to go about burning a custom.

I look forward to any and all replies.

Thanks.

Steve

This DC emulator site should have most of the resources you need http://www.dcemulation.com/dcemu-mamed.htm (http://www.dcemulation.com/dcemu-mamed.htm)
