Title: filtering on Adult titles in MamWah
Post by: exibar on September 26, 2004, 10:39:36 pm: How would I go about filtering the adult games in MameWah/mame? I didn't see an option in there in the MameWah filter listing. Do I just have to place them manually into the filtered game listing?

I haven't upgraded yet- I'm waiting for a new version of Mr. Butler's Mamewah Setup because I'm incredibly lazy. ;D

The configuration for 1.51 is easier than 0.96, without using the Mamewah setup.

how would you go through your roms and sort out all of the adult roms into different folders? I have them filtered in mamewah, now i just need to get them to not show up on HCs emusaver. :o

Actual different Windows folders? Cut & paste. That's the only option that I know of until someone writes us a rom manager that'll allow us to batch move catagories with a GUI.

I think there may be a DOS batch program that someone wrote floating around out there somewhere though.

Use saver_type run_random_game_using_wrapper with HC's EmuSaver and you don't need to move the roms, it will only pick games from the current list ;)

I used Mame Content Manager (MCM) to remove all the adult roms. Alternately, it can rename them rather than delete them.
