Title: trouble with 360 stick/psx hack
Post by: IguanaStorm on September 25, 2004, 03:32:46 pm
i got all the buttons to work but when i hook any direction up to the 360 stick it acts like its grounding out.  for example when i load up a game and if i only have left hook up to the 360 stick, than the game acts like im holding left.  there is no solder touching the ground side of the D pad contact.  any ideas???

one more thing... im sure its the 360 stick because when i un hook the 360 stick and just leave the pad plugged in it does not hold left.  i know the stick worx because i used it with a different pcb.

not that i know alot about this topic but i'm having problems also

check your +v connection.. without +5 hooked up, the joystick connection always looks like it's on

my +5 psx hack wire  didn't work so i hooked it up to another source and it worked

http://www.ultimarc.com/ipac2.html

looks toward the bottom ....

there should be 9 pins (1 missing for ground)
right above where you plug in wires

i stole it from there

if you have an ipac ve, +5 has it's own connection at end
