I am in the process of building a MAME cabinet, and want to use the 3dArcade front end with the Windows command line version .86 or .87 of MAME.
The problem is that I want to disable the nag windows that appear at the beginning of games, and I can't figure out how to do it. I've found instructions that show how to change and recompile the source code to achieve this, but the process did not work when I tried it.
Is there an easier way? I know that nonamemame is recommended for disabling the nag screens, but I'd rather do it using the Windows command line MAME if possible.
I've also read that MAME is now configurable to disable the screens, but have yet to find a tutorial on how to go about doing that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
