hello.. i have some ps2 hacks with a +5 connection for p360
i wire it up and on game controller properties on ps2 to usb converter... the controller is moving it self and all buttons light up like it's xmas time. Buttons that don't even have a connection are lighting up also
then...i take that same controller, put it to a compititon stick, it works fine ( i just don't hook up +5 to anything)
where would my problem be? i ordered p360 (2x) a few month back and havn't used it since. since it's opitical, does it get dirty?
thanks for your help

if you are trying to get the 5v off the controller, that most likely is your problem. if you are using an alternate source for the 5v, try using an alternate ground as well.

It is a hack issue. Do you know what controllers are you using? The standard PS2 dualshock controllers cannot be used with P360s because they are fully analog.

i don't know which pad it is...
it came from a member of this fourm that does stuff like this.
it came tested to me successfully.
what should i try next?
where else can i get a +5 connection from? IPAC doesn't have thing on it right?

The IPAC does have a +5v connection. Check out the diagrams at Ultimarc for your model to find out where.
