Title: WG 4591 monitor has no "blue"
Post by: fredster on September 23, 2004, 01:09:25 pm
I can't adjust it out.  The monitor has no blue, or very little blue.

Nice pic, bright screen, other colors respond.  When it shuts down I see blue in the resultant collapse, but it doesn't show it on the game (and the game is okay, I'm 100% on that)

Cap kit or some deeper, more sinister problem?

Correction - Should read "Wells Garner 4951"

Chances are the neckboard trimpots need adjustment for the blue color. If adjusting them does not make any difference then likely your picture tube needs rejuvenation.

Thanks Ken.

Yikes.

TV shop do the rejuvinations?  I saw a rejuvinator at the auction, it went for big $$.

Trim pots were of course the first thing I tried.

Pic is pretty good, just that there is very little Blue.
