Title: K7000 and ArcadeVGA...1 volt pot?
Post by: wakerlet on September 22, 2004, 11:55:49 pm
I'm hoping someone can help me.  I have a 19K7906 WG monitor and an ArcadeVGA card.  Andy informed me that there was a pot on the control board where I can adjust the monitor to accept a 1 volt signal.

Does anyone know where it is?  I've adjusted everything I can see and I have not had any success getting it to turn on.

Do I need the amp Andy sells after all?

Hmmmm...  What exactly does the monitor do when you turn on the power?  Do you here the high voltage high pitched whistle (like when you turn your TV on?)?  and do you just not get any display from your computer?

sounds like the problem I had with my AVGA card that Andy replaced without hassle.  What I had to do to get it to display a picture was to turn the montitor on, then turn the computer on.  Shut the computer off then turn it back on really quick, then I'd get signal to the monitor.

It's worth a shot to try out.  My replacement card works 100% on first power on :-)
