Title: Is there a "how-to" book published about MAME?
Post by: javeryh on September 22, 2004, 02:36:18 pm
I absolutely love my Project Arcade book - I've even read it twice!  I was wondering if there was something similar that would explain in detail how to run MAME in general along with instructions on how to set up various front ends, etc...  Anyone know?

there are many faqs out there on the net regarding mame and its variants.  due to the nature of mame and frontends, they are constantly evolving and changing so unfortunately,  anything written can easily become outdated.  plus the fact that publishers are fickle beasts, i doubt that there would be any definitive guide on the subject outside of the BYOAC bible, (which in itself must have taken some serious work to get out)..
