It was a joypad but you could screw in a little joystick in the middle of the joypad?
I need to find this for a project, but i cannot remember what its called
-
hmmm.... I remember the gravis gamepad had a little screw in joystick, but that was for PC.
-
Was that the NES Max? ??? That may have been the one with the circle style d-pad. I also remember having a thing that clipped over the standard controller that allowed you to switch in sticks.

maybe im mixing it up with the gravis pad....hmmm

SOUNDS LIKE AN NEW MAX TO ME...

Check out the Mother Ship, it's a joystick that actually fits over a standard NES controller:

Here's what I think your talking about, it clips on to your controller and allows a little joystick to screw in.

edit: looks like the picture links don't work, go to the site and look up "mother ship" and "super controller" the max is there too

The super Controller was what I was talking about. I had a pair of those. They were actually neat to play with and only cost like 6 bucks for the pair.
"super Duper" :P

I'm pretty sure I've got one of the Zipper pads kicking around, it had the screw in part (however the actual thing you screw in is long gone). If you can pick it up from Toronto, it's yours. One other small problem though, if I remember correctly it's pink :'(

I don't know. I didn't have much success with those Super Pads. I thoguht the controllers alone were infinitely better. My favorite was the NES Advantage, though. The NES Max sucked hard.

HAHAHAHA! Oh man, I had one of those Mother Ship things. Forgot all about it until I saw the pic. Man did that thing suck!
