Whatsup all,
I'm building a 4 player cab, and I've already built the frame. However, I'm sorta stuck on the control panel... My control panel will be about 4 feet long, but I'm not sure as to what angle the panel should attach to the cabinet frame. I'm just wondering as to how others figured out the angle the support boards under the control panel were placed at?
Thanks,
Ryan

Hey,
I've built a 4player machine and iirc I got the slope of the panel from an nba jam cab or something similar. If you check out my site there are plans in cad for download which show the control panel box.
Cheers

I think mine is ~10 degrees - this is fairly common I believe. If you are tall I would recommend as little slant as possible, to help reduce pains in the wrists!

I dunno what the actual angle of mine is in degrees, but it is 1" higher in the rear.

Mine is set at 4.5 degrees.

Right now I'm planning on doing mine with no slope...mainly because it's easier. :)
I thought about it, and I'm not sure a super small slope will really matter. Then if you factor in different heights of people, or possibly using stools to change your height...I said screw it.
I've read "ergonomic" manuals and they say that at a computer, your elbows should be at a 90 degree angle to the keyboard. Haha, I dunno...prolly just personal preference like most things. :)

Don't think I have ever played on a machine that didn't have a slope to the control panel, so it just seemed the natural choice to put one in mine.
