Title: Type of Router Bit for T-Molding
Post by: dmish82 on September 21, 2004, 12:02:56 am
What type of router bit would work best for t-molding that is 3/32". I tried a straight bit but that isnt' going to work well b/c I can't clamp certain edges down to make a straight cut. Someone mentioned to me a slot-cutter type would work, but which would work best? I saw a link to http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/bt_slot.html  but wasn't sure of which bit to get. any suggestions would be great. Thanks again.

um... you should get the 3 wing slot cutter on the link you posted that is 3/32" in width..... where were you confused? heh

If you're buying the arbor and bearing, just make sure you get the right size if your router has only one shank size.
