Yes this is what I do in my freetime.
This will piss off blacks, liberals, conservatives, the whole nine yards...
If people keep insisting to say "African american" and stuff like that, I am no longer white. I am European American.
Carry on.

No one cares.

No offense my little friend, but why is it I suspect you piss people off long before ethnicity even comes into play ? ;)
Honestly man, work on your approach with people. You'll benefit from that, I promise. :D

Me, I'm just American... <shrugs>
-
The problem with that Politically Correct term, is that it doesn't make sense in all cases.
When someone from Jamaica has to list their ethnicity, they list.... :
African American
When a black person born and raised in England moves to america and becomes a citizen, on applications and such, they must list themselves as :
African American
Middle-eastern people:
African American
Africans:
African American.
I know many people in South Africa are white. If they move here, and become citizens, are they considered African Americans?
The term is just stupid. It has little to do with origin and more with color of skin.

It was really more to offend than piss people off. In fact I own a shirt that says "your god doesn't love you" on it. I think that PCness is retarded, and really hate it. I'm 2 percent pc. (I dont call people derogatory terms) Whatever

You've used the word 'retarted' , just before you made the claim of not calling people derogatory terms. Granted you didn't call any one person that word, but whatever.
If it's pc for blacks to use the 'n' word, then I'll let the 'r' word slide with you.

And owes you a great thank you for being the most forgiving Op in the history of the internet.
I understand the disatisfaction with the necessity to be PC in American culture. It has reached a point of ridiculousness. However, Floyd's approach was antagonizing, as opposed to informative and controversial.
Zod said it best "Honestly man, work on your approach with people. You'll benefit from that, I promise. "
Floyd, try this, "I hate the terminology of african american, as it is a form of political correctness that is not necessary. Furthermore, I do not expect people to refer to me as European American, why etc....."
BTW, you are called something African-americanish, it is called caucassian. Which means you are white.

Read or listen to George Carlin, do we? Political correctness goes way too far, at times.

Ok, one of Floyd's responses was pulled. I do have to bring something up. He responded with something like "I am exercising my 1st admendment rights" True that, but that means nothing on the internet as the internet is isn't just in the US.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
What this means is the US goverment can't abridge what you say on these forums, BUT the owners, admins, and moderators of the forum have the right to.
It's like you have the right to not allow certain conduct in your house. You can kick someone out of your house if they don't abide by the rules. It's your house, your rules. Same here, this is saint's forum and his rules. Abide by them or get out.

On a slight tangent, in the UK when filling in offical forms etc., I am apparently not allowed to be 'English', which is what I am. I have to be 'British'. While I have absolutely nothing against Wales, Scotland or N. Ireland or it's people, I don't see why I have to be called British, when I am in fact English.
I suppose it's only a matter of time before I become 'European'...
Rant over :)

Wait a minute.
Should I call that country you live in The UK or Britain or Great Britain or what?
I thought they were all interchangeable. Then I find out that British and English aren't the same thing.
Damn.
Kickin' front end though.
