I found these joysticks on ebay from the seller multitechgames777, has anyone done business with this person before and has anyone tried any of these joysticks? The price looks nice, and help would be appreciated:
Red ball top 4/8 way joystick - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3292422764&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
Green ball top joystick 8 way - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3292438833&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores
Black bat top joystick (don't know if it's 4 way or 8 way, I assume 8 way) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3293300744&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores
Thanks in advance to any help on this.

I've never bought from them, but there are two reasons I never would:
- No refunds/returns. Items are sold as-is. So if it sucks or is a POS, that's too bad.
- Shipping looks like it takes 2 weeks to over a month. That's inexcusible for almost $6.00 to ship a joystick.
Now if you're gonna purchase your parts on eBay, I would go with:
- 123gumby123 (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=123gumby123&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50) for your 8-way and buttons
- tornadoterrysdot (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=tornadoterrysdot&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50) for your 4-way, 8-way and buttons
- cointechtexas (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=cointechtexas&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50) if you're interested in a trackball
I have used all three and they ship fast, charge more than reasonable prices for shipping (123gumby123 does some for free) and have perfect or near-perfect feedback. I'm sure others can vouch for any of these sellers.

Check here to see a review of a variety of joysticks.

As a matter of personal preference, I noticed the green ball-top has some sort of a lip underneath. I've had balltops like this before and they bugged the hell out of me. Unless you're one of those people that actually grabs the joystick directly from the top instead of the side or underneath, you're goona wish that lip wsn't there.

Wizard of DelRay,
Thanks for the links, I am going to go with one of those guys instead. I do want a ball top joystick, but sounds like I'd be better off waiting until a really good deal comes up on these guys auctions instead. I am going to get some of the Happs Super joysticks from one of them (along with some more buttons), those are the kind I have on my cab right now and I really like the feel of them (I am getting these for my brother in laws cab now).
If anyone knows a reputable place to purchase the ball top joys (that is very affordable :) ), please let us know.
Thanks

Also, I forgot to thank you GGKoul and AlanS17. I checked out the reviews of the joysticks at Kevins sight, and I see your point about the lip under the ball. Thanks again for your help.

I have one of the green and one of the red. They are extremely cheap and loose feeling. A few more dollars more will get you a much nicer stick.

I have Competition joysticks and they work great (especially in fighters). I just recently ordered a T-Stik and T-Stik Plus (http://www.ultimarc.com/controls.html). I also bought a couple of balltops from another user here cause like you, I prefer the balltops. If they work good in games like SF2, KOF, etc then I plan on getting two more. They cost quite a bit but do look that much better.

Nannuu, thanks for the reply. That is what I sort of expected. I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks for the tips.

I have purchased a few coin doors from Multitech and had zero problems with them as a seller. They shipped within 24hrs of payment and pacled items very well.
I am looking for a good 4 way ball top which will mount in 3/4 wood. I may drop the $12 to try the one you listed.
If I do, I'll let you know

Gozur,
Did you ever get one of these joy sticks? Just curious if you have any news on these.
