Someone mentioned in another post that NFL Blitz was projected to not be able to run on full frame rate without a 10 GHZ processor.
So what other games in the current romset won't run on todays current top end systems? And what games need a top of the line system to run as opposed to a middle of the line system? I have a 1GHZ pentium right now, so several are too choppy to play (simpsons bowling, cyberball, NBA Jam, etc.). I was just trying to guage what games I'd be lacking out on if I only got a middle of the road AMD as opposed to a top of the line. And of those games that I was missing out on, what games would probably still be lacking even with a top of the line system.
there are plenty of FAQs that say "you can run 80% of the games on a system like XYZ", but I can't find any that discuss the remaining 20%. I wish there was something that said "You can run 80% of games on this type system, these 10 games need this type system, these 20 games won't run even with the latest, etc).
Any experiences? Is there anyone that has an "X" system that has played every game fine except for a certain few? (and list those few)?

the Cruis'N series won't either.

Well I'm not sure if there is a list or not..... I haven't seen one, but I can at least give you an idea of some games that people test out to see how their system runs. Keep in mind, some of these (like the Mortal Kombats) will probably run fine on top of the line systems, but they have routinely come up on the board as games that give some people trouble at different tiers of computer speeds...
Mortal Kombats
Killer Instinct
STUN Runner
Cruisin' Anything (USA, World, etc)
Blitz
NBA Jam
Area 51
That's all I can think of right now, and like I said, that's not a list of games that won't run on a top of the line system. They are just games that I've heard people here say they've had trouble running on XXX system.
A lot of the newer figthers tax some systems too, but it probably won't be much of a problem for a relatively new, powerful system.

Personally I have had trouble with Carnevil running at full. However I only have 1.5ghz. Then again pointdablame said AREA 51. I have not had an issue getting full speed with that game. You may spend time finding out for yourself wich ones don't work on your computer. I can tell you it isn't always the same games for everybody. Minus the few that need like 10ghz. They run slow on everyones pc.
