Title: What's up with Starroms?
Post by: CGRemakes on September 15, 2004, 12:22:51 am
I noticed that Starroms selection is getting increasingly small.  When they first started, they had games such as Rampart, Marble Madness, and several other really good ROM's.  I visited their site today, and noticed they now only have just over 25 ROM's available.  Why do they have so few available now?

"Atari" found out they can make more money over different channels (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040907/ap_on_hi_te/games_atari_reissues_1).  See this thread. (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=24395)

85 games for $20.  They had to be making about the same through starroms.  And it's only for consoles.  That sucks.
