What sort of power requirements do the Happs light-up buttons require??
Would I need to buy a custom power supply to mount inside a cab to just power the light up buttons?
Also.....when installing a Marquee light, is a special power supply required, or do those fixtures just use a standard 110 plug on the end, like I could plug it all into a power strip mounted inside the cab...??

Just use a standard under the counter florescent light from Home Depot and mount. It will just plug into your standard outlet/surge protector. Piece of Cake!
Also, I bought this expense surge protector at http://www.cyberguys.com (Item# 112 0125). Just plug computer into designated socket and all other sockets turn on and off with the PC.
Another tip for lights was from http://www.geocities.com/cthulhuluke/ just buy an old 12 V adapter splice end and connect to coin door lights. Wa La! He only paid .35 cents for his, I hope I can find a similar deal.

AWESOME!! I suppose I just need to find a short one, eh? What length do I need....can I use those little puck halogens instead of flourescent? Hmmm...probably lead to a heat buildup issue however.
I saw the surge protector you're talking about. Hmmm, I guess I never considered the power switch for the PC! Can you wire a happs button directly to the wires that lead to the motherboard? IE: Just cut the wires going to the case button and wire them to a microswitched happs button?? Hmmm..then again I think you can set modern PC's to auto restart if the power fails, or you throw a swtich to a power strip..ie: your cab.
Finally, I took a look at that site you mentioned. Hmmm....never thought of that, didn't realize they required a 12v source.....I might not do the light up coin doors. I might instead have a flat panel, no coin slots, with spare sideart down there, illuminated with puck lights mounted under the control panel.
yeah...I got a few extra Puck Lights :D
