Title: What's a good MP3 burner?
Post by: nebs on September 14, 2004, 01:07:42 am
I use windows media to burn my CD's and it does a good job except that it automatically inserts a 2 second pause between each track. thats really annoying especially when i want all tracks to play like one continous song. what would be a good mp3 burner, that i could download of the internet, and thats FREE, but wouldnt insert any gaps between my songs? ???

I typically use Nero to burn but I use iTunes to manage my song library, it will also burn and has feature to remove 2 sec gap amongst others.

You need to burn the CD using DAO (disc at once) instead of TAO (track at once).  Burning using TAO is what causes the 2 second gaps.  It burns a single track, then the laser stops, then it burns the next track etc...  With DAO, the laser never stops or turns off, therefore no gaps.
