Hi all,
Has anybody created a Mamewah layout and customised the message dialog as well as the main one.
I have made my own layout and have set my own background image for the message dialog but any areas I would like to be transparent are always opaque.
I have tried creating the background image as a PNG and a GIF but it makes no difference.
Is this supported? Has anyone else tried it?
This is all on windows XP Pro using Mamewah 1.5
Cheers
Andy

I am using a customised message background, but I can't think atm whether I use transparent or solid text objects. But yes, transparencies should work.
Could you post your .lay and image file, if it isn't too large?

Thanks for replying Minwah.
Here is the lay and the main and message images.
Hope that the zip works ok I just added .txt to it.
You will see that the corners of the message image are rounded and the intention is for the area outside the corner to be transparent but on my cab the transparent area just appears black.
I aplogise in advance if its my cock up! It does happen. ;)
Cheers
Andy
PS: If anyone wants to use the layout then feel free.

Sorry I misunderstood previously...basically you can't do what you want :( As the image is effectively displayed on top of a form, the forms background will always be visible through the transparent parts of the image.
I think to do what you want I would have to add something to make the form itself transparent - I'll take a look into it when I update the layout stuff.
Edit: That's a really nice layout you've done btw :)

I thought it might be a feature! Its no big deal.
Many thanks for Mamewah. It's much appreciated.
Keep up the good work
