I just purchased one of Mr. Arcades 19"9100. http://www.wellsgardner.com/wellsgardner31/supportdata/D9100%20Spec%20Sheets.pdf (http://www.wellsgardner.com/wellsgardner31/supportdata/D9100%20Spec%20Sheets.pdf) The monitor works great (I'm actually typing this on it right now!). A very little amount of loss of focus up in the upper left corner, and using the monitor tester progam I can see that the red beam is a hair out of alignment in the lower right corner, but none of this should effect the game play on this.
I'm planning on in the near future using it in a MAME cabnit, so the native VGA was a big plus. But, my question is can I hook this up to the Jamma board I curently have in my cab, and that works. The monitor came with the breakout for the cable, so I'm confident I could wire up a dongle with the correct inputs. But I know very little about if this would actually send a signal the monitor could interpert. I mean we use a video amp to power standard monitors from vga cards, would I have to pull down the signal strength some how to do the opposite? And would it even like the low frequency rate the Jamma game would be putting out? And most importantly would that combination (higher then expected signal strength @ a lower then expected frequency) do any damage to the monitor if I just tested it out?

won't work, the 9100 is basically an open frame computer monitor. won't sync with the 15khz or 25khz that a typical arcade game board puts out.

You would need an upscan converter to use it with a JAMMA signal (15Khz) which could up it to 31Khz for this monitor.

i thought the d9200 series was a multisysnc monitor capable of low medium and hi res..
your saying a d9200 wont accept a low or medium resoultion signal?
so whats the sense of having one?
