I don't know if the VGA monitor I have is 27" or 29" but until I find out, I'm looking for both. Anybody know where to get just a frame for a 27/29 monitor in a TV casing? Location isn't much of an issue.

Where did you find a VGA monitor that large?
-
It's a Gateway monitor. They aren't made anymore. I forget the model number. They were built for presentations and teaching. It gets a max 800X600 resolution, but that's good enough for me.

Any luck? Retailers, private owners, people with monitors or tubes. Where are you all hiding!

Im not sure what you mean by 'monitor frame' but if you mean bezels ..... I'm in Chicago and i make Paintgrip sheetmetal bezels like this one on my cab.

Actually, by frame I mean the metal casing around the back of the monitor that protects the tube and allows you to mount it to the machine.
Those are some cool bezels, though. How much do they run? Please IM me so as not to highjack the thread.

Oh, the gateway SHOULD be a 27" as 29" is not a common american tube size. But since it is a PC monitor it might be lying about the size and could really be a 25" or 26"..

Well I measured it off to see if I could replace it with a 25" frame and it was too large. It probably is a 27" tube, though.

Anybody? Come on! ???
