I survived the brunt of the storm. I was just south of the eye when it came ashore. We had 90-100mph winds for almost 24 hrs straight, It was pretty scarry hearing the house creek and make all kinds of noise a house doesent usually make. We are some of the fortunate ones, we have our powwer on and water is safe to drink. There are others that wont have power for a few more days. There is no gas for cars, the stores are closed, the stores that are open, have nothing on the shelves, people are waiting in line for 5-6 hours for water and ice and any type of food. It is really a mess down here! Keep us in your prayers. Anything anybody can do would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks OSG

thats what happened where i live when 30 years ago a cyclone blew everything away. a lot of people didnt come back. but as is probably the case with where old school gamer lives, its a great place to live otherwise. over time lots of new people move in who have never experienced a cyclone. it would remain to be seen whether THEY stay or not.
hang in there old school! and dont leave town cos people get mighty curious about empty houses in times like these!!
