Title: xp amd two mice, I thought this didnt work?

I have been sitting on my spinner for a year , all my PCs have XP.
well I just bought a Happs Trackball (usb / ps2 ) 3inch ball
I was not thinking (all excited ) I opend the box , stabed in usb
and was up and playing before I thought HAY I have both mice working on xp
centipede payed great
so.... I must have realy missed the boat and went south with the whole Idea.  
I guess now the big deal was player 2 is out?
If this is true
ThenI should be able to hook up a USB Trackball and a PS2 spinner with no problems?

The problem was 2 mice controlling 2 separate players simultaneously.  u_rebel very cleverly got around it in MAME Analog+ :)

Yes you can hook up your trackball/spinner at the same time (they will both control the mouse cursor)...presumably you will only use one at a time in MAME...
