I have just bought a trackball from a seller on Ebay (cointechtexas)
Fast shipping and and Takes money orders ( this is a huge plus for me, I only use money orders ) It does work on XP also
Happ Controls 3 in trackball

I plan on buying 1 more soon for my vertical cab :)

I also purchased the Happ Trackball from cointechtexas (to be exact, this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6116762001&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6116762001&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT))

The total cost was $86.95.  I thought it was worth it considering it's a great price for what you're getting and the only other seller with the exact same one was www-kidsplaythings-cc.

daywane and wiz,
thanks for the heads up.  If you don't mind me asking, were these good to go out of the box.  In other words, did bearings need any sort of cleaning/modification, or does the trackball operate smoothly first time.
Thanks,
JamIt

I'm getting one of these from them. It should be in next week sometime.

Am I right to assume on these translucent trackballs, to get them to glow, you have to install a light seperately?

JamIt:  Mine was perfect.  Plugged it in and it worked great.  Looking at the packaging I think that he just leaves his items sealed as it comes from Happ Controls and ships it to you.

xcalibur:  Yeah, you have to install your own light.

mine worked right out of box.
mine is solid blue. I do not think a light would do much.
works great.
I thought a 3" would be large but not so. I like it.

daywane and wiz,
thanks for the follow up.
Looks like I'll be ordering soon. My comp USA 2 1/4 has held up for 4+ years, but is ready for retirement.
