I need an encoder wheel. The size used in 2 1/4" Wico trackballs, and also used on Arkanoid spinners, etc...
I have one which is missing a big chunk (almost half of it). I "repaired" it with cardboard, but I wouldn't mind replacing it with a complete unbroken wheel.
Thanks.

Couldn't you make one from sheet styrene (available at many hobby shops)? Should be an easy enough job...
I don't know if the encoder is the same size as a Happs encoder, but if it is, you can buy one from Happ for $1.40 (item 95-1422-00, "PLASTIC STAR WHEEL F/TRACKBALL
(24 SLOTS)").

I found what you need dude!
http://www.betson.com/betson%20parts%20catalog.pdf
page 70 of their catalog, down the bottom. They sell the encoder wheels for trackballs for 89 cents each! Hope that doesn't break your budget :-)
I don't know if they have a minimum order or not, but you might be able to convince a salesman over there to drop on in anenvelope as a "sample" for ya :-)

I'm about to make a betson order, if you want one, and want me to mail it to you, then let me know.

Please! Would be much appreciated. Their catalog doesn't mention size. I hope this is the 1 1/2". Although if the size is off a bit, I can adjust the optic placement (spinner). So no biggie.
Thanks,
Ray
