Ok, I bought a cab awhile back with an unknown problem. Turns out the iso was wired wrong and fried. I replaced it today, turned on the cab and the monitor is being weird. All I get on the screen (with a game board in place) is a large white bar across the middle and smaller white lines above that. It doesn't have a remote board connected, so I pulled the one off my other cabinet (K7192) and stuck it on there. Turned it back on and it started sparking across the flyback(?). Took the remote board off, turned on again, no spark.
Any clue what is going on here???

I've always heard that running the monitor without its remote board can be damaging due to no ranges being set for contrast/bright/v sync etc. First thing I would do is get the proper remote board and then start your trouble shooting from there. You'll have to call wells gardner direct and order it.

First thing to do is call Wells-Gardner and order the correct remote adjustment board. It sounds like all you need is the remote board and a new flyback. Anytime sparks shoot out the flyback you can be 100% sure the flyback is shot and needs to be replaced. Relace those two items and your monitor should be good to go.
Remember to never power up the monitor without the remote adjustment board connected as you can damage the monitor. I don't think you damaged anything in your case though.
