hey, i have this very weird (and very annoying) problem...
windows will not complete booting (and therefore, wont display an image) if there isnt a computer monitor plugged into the card. i verified this, and when the monitor and tv are hooked up, windows boots and the image is shown on the tv but not the pc monitor (since i configured it to be the primary single display). when the pc monitor isnt plugged in, and only the tv is, windows will not boot (no image is displayed at all on the tv screen), and it stays blank...
i really dont know what to do here...im using the latest nvidia drivers, so im guessing its really a configuration issue, or maybe registry or sommat....
thx,
Apu

Do you mean, not plugged in as no connection to video card or no power to monitor upon booting ? Just make the TV your primary monitor unless of course your using the monitor for window purposes

not plugged in as in no connection to the graphics card.
the tv is set as the primary display, and its on single mode, so when the image is on, its only on the tv and the pc monitor gets no signal whatsoever

I had a similar problem like this a few months back:
1. Set the TV to primary disply. (check all the NVIDIA options cause I believe their are a few things that need ticking)
2. Reboot the pc
3. Once up and running, check that TV is primary display. If it is, shutdown pc
4. Now unplug the monitor, and boot up. Remember you probably wont see anything on screen until windows starts to load. This is because BIOS does not know you are using a TV out. Give the PC a chace to Boot windows, and you should have disply.
