Post by: edgar_mallory on September 05, 2004, 12:00:48 pm

IMO, if you don't have any of the parts, it would be easier to get an old computer with TV out, slap MAME on it and connect to the TV.  If you are determined to use the NBA JAM TE JAMMA board, it's a LOT more headache, BUT, feel free to due a search one the site here, I believe I've seen this answered a few times.  Still not worth it though... IMO

A little better explanation, not much mind you.  You need to build a Super Gun.

Google for "super gun"

You can probably buy one off ebay for cheap now that mame has removed the need for them or build your own.

Basically a super gun is JAMMA loom with some TV out circutry built in to output to a TV rather than an arcade monitor. You plug your JAMMA board in one end and your TV in the otehr end and you're laughing.

OF course you acheve the same effect by putting a TV out card in your PCV and using MAME, then you could sall the NBA JAM board on e-bay to pay for the tV out card
