i have a nec flat screen PC monitor... when i turn it on, it displays the POST image and then gets brighter and brighter until is switches to standby mode. I have to turn it off and back on again but it does the same thing again. I looked for loose connections but I've found none. Should i throw this away or is it fixable? I feel bad trashing a flat screen monitor
