1) Are you using the latest version of MAME?
2) Do you have an up-to-date MAME.DAT file in your Mame directory?
If not, run the following from the command line in your MAME directory:
-mame -listxml|xml2info > mame.dat
3) I would change List Generation Method to "2" for Rom Folder Vs DAT File
4) If these are right, then refresh your games list within MameWah by hitting 2-arrow down-1-1 (assumes you are displaying your Main List)
Hope this helps

didnt do a thing....used that command to make a new dat file (its 16.2 megs)

Is your folder actually named "Mamewah.exe" and "Mame.exe"?
If so, delete the ".exe" from the folder names.
-
did you refresh your games list from within mamewah? Games won't show up until you refresh them.

Oh no thats the location plus the file....Should I only have the location of the files?

Ok now is works but when I close out it says run time error 75 and then dumps me to the destop with the screen size all messed up.

If you're running Win98, try the workaround here: http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=740&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

I have XP.
Feck, never heard of that before :-\ All I can suggest is delete your \mamewah\files folder and start again.
Also (not 100% sure) if your mamewah folder is g:\mamewah.exe\ change to g:\mamewah\ as suggested...

the folder is G: .... so mamewah.exe (the program) is just it the root G: folder.

Oh right, try installing it to a folder then, eg g:\mamewah\ - maybe it doesn't like being in the root (never tried it myself).

tried it non root....still didnt work.........

Haven't got a clue then :( Hopefully my next release's new config system will fix it - give that a try :-\
