Title: Help w/ jPac wiring - speaker inq.
Post by: General Zod on August 29, 2004, 06:20:00 pm
Greetings,

I just have a quick question regarding the jPac and wiring the speaker connections from a jamma harness. I've tried searching the faq, but no avail.. ???

I've decided to use the speaker hack, and wire the existing cab speaker to a torn apart set of creative's ... my question is this .... Since I'm using the speaker hack to generate sound, will I still need to use the speaker + & -  wires form the jamma harness and connect to the jPac?   ( i hope that makes sense )  ;)

Thanks in advance for your help.

Michael

Since the existing speakers should already be attached to the JAMMA harness, wire the output of the speaker amp to the speaker input on the J-PAC.

Remember it's only a mono connection.  If you want stereo you will have to bypass the J-PAC and JAMMA and go straight from the amp to the speakers.
