Title: Parallel Port Custom Gamepad

hi guys,

im new to this so be easy! I have looked on the main site for a parallel port gamepad schematic but i couldnt find one. Do any of you guys know any links to any schematics? All i want is eight switches going into the LTP somehow. Got any idea's?

Go to a thrift store and pick up one of those cheap little Gravis gamepads, or better yet, maybe you can find a cheap gamepad with more buttons than the Gravis has.

Hack the pad to connect your controls to it!

its actually fairly easy to get this info from the "interfaces" section on the main page.  a couple of clicks will bring you to the ppjoy website which has several different options and even programmable drivers.  just looking through a couple of diagrams, the tormod schematic and the lptswitch schematic would suit your needs..

I've built a couple of PPort gamepad interfaces using PPJoy http://www.geocities.com/deonvdw/Docs/PPJoyMain.htm (http://www.geocities.com/deonvdw/Docs/PPJoyMain.htm)

Look in the Supported Interfaces section for schematic details - there should be something under the Digital section that supports 8 switches.
