If no one thought of this before, I now officially copyright it :)
I was reading the other thread about using 7 buttons and how they would be wired up, and I was thinking...if someone loads up a game, how would he/she know which buttons to use? Sure, one can simply display some help text. But wouldn't it be cool if one uses all translucent, lighted buttons, and have the system light up only those buttons which are to be used for the loaded game?
Of course, I haven't thought of exactly HOW this would be accomplished. It could be a neat feature to include in a future product such as IPAC.

Great idea. I'm glad I thought of it before you though.
PS: Lamearcade.com is blank??

Doh! Deep down I knew someone had to have thought of it first.
The lamearcade website mentioned in the thread is down, so I
can't read about the implementation.
Mario (off thinking of a hopefully *new* idea)

There's also a thread started by me, with a link to a guy who sells programmable PCBs to control lights. Unfortunately he charges a few hundred for them.
