Post by: paigeoliver on August 26, 2004, 01:34:24 pm: It is a rare game, but there is almost no demand for them, and it isn't THAT rare since it came out in like 89, most ops don't convert a game less than 5 years old, which brings it up to 1994, at which point the arcade was dying fast, and that cab is weird, so they tended to get warehoused rather than converted at that point.

I REALLY doubt the buyer is going to get the asking price.

Yeah it's a very bad game. I think it was Gottlieb's last gasp in video, wasn't it?

I think one sold for quite a bit a few months ago. I can't find the listing though.

Post by: spidermonkey on August 26, 2004, 04:34:15 pm: It looks like a friggin tool shed or a an overgrown dog house with a monitor in it. Kinda cool but Paige is right. Operators would certainly warehouse that thing in favor of a more standard shaped cab for conversion uses. Arcade games just shouldn't have roofs. :P Might be good to gut it out and store your rakes and shovels in it though. Seriously though if it isn't rare yet it is sure to be in the not so far future just because of its obscurity so I wouldn't touch one of those with MAME on the brain. The only cab I can think of that looks even more rediculous would be a Wacko cab. Again, rediculous but cool. 8)

Wacko didn't look that ridiculous in line next to other "straighter" cabs, it just looked tweaked.
Exterminator looks like some kind of redemption game.
