Hello all,
Ok, so I got my Q*Bery monitor all hooked up and everything is fine EXCEPT.
My monitor is Vertical 256x240 resolution, so I only want to play games that can display on it without stretching(pac man,Dkong etc).
I am using the Ultrastyle frontend. The problem is the Ultrastyle front end looks like complete crap at 256x240. But if I set it at any other resolution, like 800x600, It looks great but then I have to adjust the horizontal hold whenever I start a game.
What the heck am I doing wrong here? If I set the resolutions to 800x600 all around, everything looks good, but not great.
Any ideas?
P.S. I still need a Q*Bert control panel if anyone has one laying around.

Try my 'ArcadeVGA MAME Res. Tool' (from my downloads page) - that should sort out any problems while playing games...
As for the FE, why does it look like crap at 256x240?

Ultrastyle uses the marquees on the scroll wheel. at 256x240 everything on the screen except for the text is way blurry.
I have used your res tool and everything is fine on that end. Basically I need to find the highest possible resolution that Ultrastyle will work at while keeping the games at 256x240.
Is 720x480 the highest possible?
Thanks again!

Probably...what does it look like at 640x480 tho?
