Title: Hole drilled is off by very little....

how do i fix with out starting a new piece of wood?  
Its not off bad but an expert will notice and shot me in the head for doing this wrong.  I thought cuting my hand a little higher and then taking the shaved part and clueing it to the opposite side...

any ideas?  

(what makes this worse, i did it for 4 times - my templete was off)

Um, I'm not following you.  If you drilled your hole in the wrong place there are a few things to do.  How much is it off?  You can use a slightly larger drill bit if your hole can stand to be a little bigger.  Or, using a plug cutter or a hole saw you can cut a  round piece of wood the same size as your hole, glue it in place, and then redrill your hole in the right lcoation.

yes, that does help (my dad is the handy one)

it's off maybe by 2/8 or so, not bad but not good

I repair my wood by making a paste out of sawdust and woodglue.  I just pack it on, let it dry, and sand.  It's super strong and cheap as hell.

Also, it's probably okay if your hole is a little too big as long as you're going to cover your panel with plexi+overlay or laminate.  Just make sure the hole is cut right on the top bit and that it covers up the mistake on the bottom bit.
