Well, after all the looking around, I finially decided to start my cabinet.
First I am making swappable panels.
General Panel (2 8way, tball, 1-4way)
Driving Panel
You Dont Know Jack
I made the first panel. I am going to redo the artwork since its hard to see. Also I got the trackball mounted.
I will show my picture for my "You dont know jack" panel shortly. Basically, three of the big 4 inch buttons, one of those plastic flat keyboards, and some buttons!

Hey that's really nice! Really shows how color themes for each player can really make a CP stand out, with very little artwork needed o the CP itself.

Nice panel. Looking pretty durn sweet.
I had to comment because I wanted to plan a YDKJ panel as well. I put that as a 'to do' for much, much later - but I had ideas.
I found this really tiny (but full sized keys) membrane keyboard. Seems easy to attach to a slab of wood with minimal routing. Then I had the obligatory Q,B,P buzz buttons, 2 sets of 1,2,3,4 buttons and 2 Screw buttons.
Can't wait to see how yours turns out - attach pics when you get a chance.

I am kinda itching to build that panel. I dont know why but those games are fun. I wish I knew somone with some of the other cd's of the games. I only have volume 1 and 2.
I have a program that creates a virtual cd rom drive, so you dump everything to a folder and the computer thinks its a cd rom, thus saving you from switching disks.
I will post a picture of my layout tomorrow once I get to work.

Here is my YDKJ Control Panel. The keyboard size might change depending on what I can find. I will find some other graphics also.
http://happcontrols.com/pushbuttons/954002xxxxz.htm is the button I am going to use.
I found some places on Amazon.com where I can get some of the older YDKJ games for cheap.
