haha... No matter how much I play I never seem to get any better at Robotron.  I can never really get much past wave 10.

The whole reason I got into MAME was to play the authentic Robotron.

I believe its considerably harder if you play without a pair of leafswitch joysticks (ala mame).   I have an original robotron cab at home and its well worth the investment (in entertainment and future value as a prized collectable).  

BTW: I've torn through 2 sets of grommets over the course of 5 years playing on that machine.  ;D
