Title: Ultimate Arcade 2 Plans - Width?
Post by: Ovalblue on August 19, 2004, 03:49:24 pm
I am getting ready to start building a cabinet and decided to use the Ultimate Arcade II plans.

For those of you who have used these plans, what is the width of the cabinet and what size monitor did you use?

I am planning on using a 27" arcade monitor which measures close to 24" wide.

Thanks,
Aki

by width they mean the width of your monitor plus one and a half to 2 inches, the reason, tho im not certain but believe, is because u could stick a 13 inch tv in it if u wanted, or a 32 inch tv, so the width would always be different, i am also building an ultimate arcade 2, my 27 inch tv was 25 inches wide, so the width of all my peices were 27, hope i helped, thanks.

I'm using the UAII plans, and a WG9200 as my monitor.  From what I read on the mameroom boards, a 25" width will work.  The WG9200 is 24.5" wide, so if yours is thinner than that, I would say 25" for you, too.

I have yet to put my system together, mind you, currently it's a pile of cut wood on the floor ready for laminating. :)
