Title: CPO
Post by: Trimoor on August 18, 2004, 05:18:58 pm
I took the top layer off my control panel, and this is what I found.

Now what do I do?
I would like to make my own custom control set, but there are so many holes in the metal.

Should I try to fill in the holes?
Should I have someone make a new one from scratch?
Should I ignore the holes, and just cover it with plex?

This is the cab i'm refering to:

What controls are you wanting to put in it?

most likely a trackball, spinner, joysticks, and buttons.
I might omit some if there isn't room.

I just read oscar's CP restoration guide, and it looks promising, but could I drill new holes through the fiberglass and metal?
I'd have to get a welder too...

What should I do with the assault overlay?
Is it pretty much useless?
