Post by: skid_68 on August 15, 2004, 11:01:08 pm
I know its been awhile since my first post. My cab is actually finished. (Still waiting for Snaaake to get back to me about artwork) but I havent taken pics of the semi finished product yet. I took these a while back, and just got them off the camera.  8)

Pix not working for me.

If they're small enough why not just upload them here?

There is a little "box" below the message "box"  to the left it says attach:

Click on the browse button, find the file, select it, and click the open button and bob's your uncle.

Most real arcade games had hinged control panels as well, unless I've just only seen ones with them.

What do you use to attach your CP? I've seen people say velcro and the like don't hold up very well.

The cab looks great OP, keep us posted.

Some did, alot didn't. The reason most did not was so that technicians can just unhook them, take the whole panel to their workbench and do the work, then bring it back and re-attach it. No fuss no muss. (Another good reason to make all your wiring detachable via a molex plug).

The cab I'm converting has a hinged CP since it's all made of wood. I should probably change it to not-hinged, but that's extra work I don't absolutely need to do.
