Title: Power down Compaq computer.

Does anybody know of a way to power down a Compaq Celeron computer with one of those shut down programs?  I've tried a few different ones (ATX off and I think the other was called Dos shutdown or something like that) Nothing seems to work.  I'm using Arcadeos through Dos 7.
